Portfolio website using wix

This was my first task in Fab Lab, it's idea is to create my own website to be a portfolio for my projects, i created it using online tool wix.com to create the website, they provide you with template designs to chose from, i have chosen a template and changed its design to coop with my needs, before creating the website i made a research about the FabLab, Digital Fabrication, and Maker Movement what they are, how they help you, and what is their purpose, then i put a home page with a briefly ideas about them, and another one for the machines and a briefly note about them too, then we have a Project page that contains all my projects, lastly we have About Me page.

How to make a website on wix.com?

1. open Wix.com, then click on Get Stared.

2. it will ask you to Log In, if you are new to wix chose Sign Up, you enter your email and password then click Log In button.

3. it will open you a new page asking you to chose what kind of website do you want you chose your preference (I have chosen Protfolio & CV)

4. after choosing the type of your website it will ask you would you like wix to create it by asking you some question or you would like to chose a template and edit it (I choose Choose a Template).

5. Now after clicking Choose a Template it open a page with many templates to choose from you can View the template or Edit it.

6. Click on Edit, it will open a new page (Tab), to edit the design, inserts and write in text.

7. Now click on Add in the left toolbar to add anything you want from Buttons to Text.

8. After editing the website to your preference, you would like to publish it, by clicking on Publish on the right corner of the web page, it will ask you if you would like a domain or you have your own then click Save and Continue.
